how was the ACET for you? do you think you will make it? why yes and why not?
actually its heart-wrenching to see the children crying over the shoulders of their parents when their “Life” depends on this ACET results.
i wish the parents will support their children no matter what the outcome will be.
as they say, everything happens for a reason.
my eldest graduated from DLSU, the second from ADMU…the third remains to be seen.
but we as parents just wish, hope and pray that wherever they get in and finish, their life after college will be the judge on what they have been molded from their alma mater.
i saw scenes like that at ateneo last year. i saw many boys and girls in turns in not seeing their names on the bulletin board at the blue eagle gym. one boy in particular said out loud that it was not fair – he was an atenista since grade school and now the school he grew up in rejected him.
unfortunately there are also parents who tell their kids it;s ateneo or nothing. too much pressure and pain for the kids and really unnecessary. it is unfair to the kids. it’s just a school, there are other schools as good as ateneo.
I’ve been hearing that ACET results will come out on January 15. I don’t know if it’s true, though.
it says february on the ateneo website and ateneo is usually on time on these things.
so when will the result be posted??
as posted at the ateneo website, it will be posted in february. come back here to monitor when in frbruary or call the ateneo admissions office.
im wondering, i took the exam last september 18,which is my birthday sadly, and since then i’ve always been checking their site for the release and i always see that its January of 2012, then around november or december , i saw it changed to february , then i noticed that they would be holding a new set of exams for other applicants.. maybe that february thing is for the new examinees

good luck to all ACET takers todaynand tomorrow. take the essay question seriously, it can spell the difference of getting accepted or not. the ACET is known to be very hard and long, most find there is not enough time to answer all. make the most of your time.
