No parent should have to bury his/her child. But it happens. May the Alcantara family find comfort and healing during these trying times.

Amiel may have left too soon but I am certain that he has lived 10 wonderful years.

I had to take a few minutes and a couple of hours to digest everything when I heard about this tragic, tragic event. Words cannot even begin to express the shock, the sadness, outrage and finally, a sense of emptiness. Amiel is not my son, but I can feel the great sadness that descends in everyone’s heart.

I would like to send my deepest, deepest condolences, i know you’ve heard this so many times. But please accept ours, I hope that you may find acceptance and peace – for the sake of your other kids and for your own.

No one can replace your Amiel, but there are some angels that the Lord only lends us, and is not for us to keep.

I hope you get a chance to read this. i don’t know you, but this is the only way that I can send you my thoughts and prayers.
