manila bulletin reports “president arroyo is inside a coffin”! is she dead? O-M-G!!! freudian slip? factual?

President Arroyo’s Coffin Moved With Utmost Care”

this has been circulating in the internet today. this photo was apparently printed in today’s Manila Bulletin special edition. we don’t subscribe to the newspaper – can anyone confirm? is this a hoax or did manila bulletin really print that?

read the caption on the photo. O-M-G!

—–

apparently this photo is on the centerfold of the special edition.

—–

well, manila bulletin should be given credit for making sure president arroyo while inside the coffin is being carried “WITH UTMOST CARE”. we don’t want arroyo suddenly rolling out of the coffin.

—–

ps: i just hope that as manila bulletin carries arroyo with utmost care while inside the coffin, they should not  forget to leave it open even for a bit for air to come in. we don’t want arroyo suffocating while inside the coffin, she might die inside the coffin!

—–

wow! president arroyo inside a coffin being carried by 8 burly men in military uniform! kinky!

—–

hmmm…. or perhaps arroyo is not yet inside the coffin. the 8 burly men in military uniform are going to deliver arroyo’s coffin to her. prophetic?

—–

—-

will there be a state funeral?

—–

manila bulletin report: president arroyo is inside a coffin
my reaction: get her out of there, she might die!

Breaking News from PDI, out just now “Palace finds no malice in photo caption error” here is our 2 sentence summary of that news article in PDI:

  • malacanang denies arroyo was inside that coffin dead or alive
  • arroyo herself confirms she is not dead
  • (well ok 3 sentences) arroyo did not care to comment if she likes to stay inside coffins

here is one more gross error where the abs-cbnnews website said “arroyo is battling colon cancer”. we posted that in this blog.

click here to read about it: https://wawam.wordpress.com/2009/07/25/abs-cbnnews-coms-gross-typo-error-on-news-on-cory/

the abs-cbnnews website got a couple of responses at facebook. read about it here: https://wawam.wordpress.com/2009/07/25/is-typo-error-a-prophecy-sent-a-wave-hope-for-better-leadhership/

Funny. First ABS CBN “ousted” President Arroyo. Now, Manila Bulletin – of all newspapers! – “killed” President Arroyo. What’s next? Philippine Daily Inquirer or Philippine Star burying her? Hey, if you keep doing this “mistake” that feisty lady in the palace might finally declare Martial Law.

    proofreading is a dangerous job

  5. August 7, 2009 at 1:25 pm

at least two people should be fired from their jobs – the writer and the editor.

thought you might also see this:

    http://www.lendroenore.com/2009/08/scene-abs-cbn-news-inexcusable-mistake.html

with all these mistakes, i guess when those people were crafting the words, deep inside they wished it was Arroyo. and you know how it is, it’s like texting someone, but because you were thinking of someone else, you mistakenly send it to the one who were thinking of… or you are angry at someone and you want to vent it out on someone, and instead of sending it to that person, you send it accidentally to the one you are so mad at.

it’s not intentional but the subconscious might be so intense. even the proofreaders/editors also want Arroyo to be GONE!

Manila Bulletin is a very reliable source. They should only publish true & reliable story. It is very embarassing for people in the company to not notice this. We all know PGMA is not dead.

    • August 8, 2009 at 10:40 am

this is a failure of the writer and the editor

I think unintentional nga to. Pero still may carelessness pa din.I am neither a Pro-Arroyo nor an oppositionist. But I believe we need to respect our present President kahit ano pa ang political beliefs natin kasi she represents our country. I don’t think the next President would ever want to be treated the same way kahit sino pa yan. The problem with us binoboto natin tapos we don’t know how to follow and respect out leader. I too have enormous grievances, I’m jobless kaya tambay na lang ako ng net, sad man pero may magagawa pa ba kung pagsalitaan natin ng hindi maganda ang pinakamataas na pinuno natin. I don’t even vote for her but Please let us all allow her to finish her term gracefully.

Roxanne, yup.. Manila Bulletin is a very reliable source. They should only publish true & reliable story.

Kasi sabi sa caption “with utmost care” hello!!!!
Dapat bang bigyan nang utmost care is arroyo? She should follow the lifestyle and leadership of Pres. Aquino kung gusto nyang magkaroon sya nang utmost care sa libing nya, but I doubt it.

I hope that the GHOST of Former President Marcos will never haunt us again. It started on 1993 that Former Executive Secretary Teofista Guingona Jr. accidentally introduces Former President Fidel V. Ramos as “His Excellency President Ferdinand Marcos” in a function in Malacañang. (don’t place negative rate here). Another error also happened in Manila Memorial Park, that the EmCee accidentally mistakens Sen. Noynoy Aquino III as “Benigno “NOYNOY” Aquino Jr.” while handing over the Philippine Flag from the AFP.

i would be willing to walk a hundred miles to join gloria’s funeral march, just to make sure she is buried and locked up inside the concrete, baka kasi joke lang at mamaya ay buhay na naman!!!!!!at tumakbo ulit ng presidente, nakakatakot na.

  20. December 15, 2009 at 5:42 am
