One Direction in Manila

giant billboards featuring the boy band One Direction are sprouting all over metro manila. just like in many other cities in the world, the One Direction fever is on the high.

this billboard is on EDSA at makati city, metro manila’s main highway where almost all commuters in the city pass on a daily basis. this is just 1 of 3 giant billboards on EDSA. the pictures show just exactly how big it is – 2 to 3 story high, it can’t be missed.

the first two pictures were taken on top of the Rockwell flyover on EDSA on a busy afternoon. the last one was on ground level EDSA to give a sense of the size of the billboard in relation to the taxi and bus on the road from the eyes of people in vehicles on EDSA.
